Diabetes Management Training is designed for NDIS high-intensity support workers support participants living with diabetes. This comprehensive training helps you understand diabetes, recognise early warning signs, and provide safe, adequate day-to-day support for better health outcomes.

Learn what diabetes is, the difference between Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, and how diabetes affects the body. Discover common symptoms, risk factors, and the importance of blood sugar management.
- Monitoring and Medication
Gain practical skills in checking blood glucose levels using a glucometer. Learn about diabetes medications and safe insulin administration, including correct storage and dosage as prescribed.
- Healthy Eating and Lifestyle Support
Gain practical skills in checking blood glucose levels using a glucometer. Learn about diabetes medications and safe insulin administration, including correct storage and dosage as prescribed.
- Recognising and Managing Risks
Identify the signs and symptoms of hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar) and hyperglycaemia (high blood sugar). Know how to respond quickly and safely in an emergency, including first aid and when to seek medical help.
