2. Does Support Point provide Remote Support Coordination?

Yes, we specialise in Remote Support Coordination, assisting people in rural and remote communities, including Aboriginal communities and outback areas. We’re experienced in working with local services and overcoming distance and communication barriers.

3. Are you a registered NDIS provider?

Support Point is a Registered NDIS provider committed to meeting all NDIS Quality and Safeguarding standards. We currently work with agency-managed, plan-managed and self-managed participants across Australia.

4. How quickly does Support Point respond to enquiries and urgent requests?

We pride ourselves on quick responses—usually within 2-3 hours. For urgent situations, we prioritise rapid contact to ensure safety and support.

5. What experience does Support Point have with complex and high-intensity care?

Our coordinators have hands-on experience supporting participants with high-intensity and complex medical needs, including medical care, behavioural support, and emergency planning in remote and urban settings.

6. Does Support Point have a physical office location?
We are based in Brisbane, but our services are 100% mobile and online. We support clients Australia-wide, focusing on flexible, person-centred service regardless of location.
7. Has your team worked as Disability Support Workers in SIL homes?
Yes. Many of our coordinators and leaders have direct experience working in Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes, providing personal care, behaviour support, and community participation, so we understand many participants’ support needs.
8. What is Support Point’s experience with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participants?
We have extensive experience working with Aboriginal people and communities. Our team has completed cultural competence training and collaborates respectfully with participants, families, and Elders.
9. What experience does Support Point have?
Our coordinators have professional backgrounds in Social Work, Housing, Mental Health, Domestic Violence, Substance Abuse, Justice System, child protection, Foster Care, aged care, and disability support. We bring a holistic, trauma-informed approach to every participant.
