Flexible Support for Living Life Your Way
At Support Point, we believe everyone deserves to live in a way that reflects their unique preferences, strengths, and goals. Individualised Living Options (ILO) is a flexible NDIS support that helps you design a home and living arrangement that works best for you.
While ILO doesn’t pay for your house or rent, it funds the support you need to live independently or with others in a setting of your choice.
What Is ILO?
ILO is about creating a living arrangement that suits your lifestyle, needs, and goals. Whether you’d like to share a home with housemates or live with a host, ILO helps you make those choices with the proper support.
The support is tailored to you and can work alongside other funded services, informal supports (like friends and family), and community connections.
ILO Support Is Delivered in Two Stages
Stage 1 – Exploration and Design
In this phase, you’ll explore:
- Where you'd like to live
- Who you’d like to live with (if anyone)
- What type of support do you need
- whom you want to provide your support
With Support Point, you’ll work through these choices, and we’ll help you complete a detailed Service Proposal and Supporting Evidence Form for the NDIS.
Stage 2 – Implementation
Once your ILO is approved, we help you implement your plan. This includes:
- Setting up your supports
- Coordinating service providers
- Establishing Service Agreements
- Adjusting supports as your needs change over time
Your supports will be designed to offer safety, stability, and flexibility and can change if your circumstances do.
What Supports May Be Included?
ILO can include a range of support options, such as:
- Personal care and daily living assistance
- Support to manage your home and routine
- Building
- Emotional and behavioural support
- Support from neighbours, friends, or community members
- On-call assistance when needed
- Training for your support network
Please note that ILO does not cover activities outside your home, such as work, study, or recreational outings.
